Teen Model bikini beach
As the 'teen model bikini beach shoot' progressed, our teen model became more relaxed and joined in the adventure of it all.
It's essential that a model should enjoy any shooting experience, weather teen or older, as this will dictate the success of any photo session, be it a beach location or studio photography.
Photographers take note, a happy model will mean a successful photo shoot.
A pile of rocks on the beach made a good bikini swimwear changing room for our teen model, while her Mom stood the other side to block the view, (nothing personal Mom)!
I had chosen a fairly quite stretch of shoreline to shoot our young girl model, but still within a 'stones throw' of the beach restaurant, facilities and parking lot. And as it worked out, a clever move, especially when our teen model Maayan was feeling the heat of the afternoon sun, it's amazing what an ice cream can do...
A larger public beach can be such a 'hassle' to shoot bikini swimwear or fashion photography, unless of course you want 'hassle' in your shots, but I prefer to create my own 'hassle' as I did for an assignment shoot a while back, when I borrowed some friendly people to include in the background of a fashion photography shoot to make it look busy, but in fact we were the only people on the beach.
If you think I'm rambling on a bit, you could be right, but the above tips should be kept in mind, especially if you haven't shot many beach location teen model or fashion photography assignments yet.
Another tip might help here, if you know that you may be away from a store or restaurant, you would be wise to carry a cold box in you location vehicle full of tasty snacks/drinks and if your shooting a teen model, an ice cream will make you the most popular person on the beach, (by the way, apart from the teen model and your crew, you could be the only person on the beach), which in turn could lead to a great set of teen beach model bikini shoot images.
